Jam Indemnity - NO FORM / NO HELMET / NO RIDE! 29
August 2007
No rider will be allowed to ride the Jam unless they have a signed
indemnity form and a helmet. If you are under 21 you need to get
your parents to sign the indemnity for you. You can download the
form and bring it with you or get your parents/guardian to sign
one on the day. We are going to be strict on this.
Not much news to report on right now but here are some pics form
last night's session at Monte. The pics were taken by Fraser Byrne.
Fraser is the guy behind STF.
Brad learnt a new trick.. he call's it the territory marker, go
figure!
Tyrone over the hip, this is Fraser's first attempt at "blur".
He's a natural.
Yep, Greg is back. High ass table.
Brad getting more serious this time with a no-hander over the hip.
The curtains! Ain't it pretty?

Superclass
BMX Final Round 19
August 2007
Racing is a side of BMX that often gets overlooked these days.
However being the final round of the Superclass Series at Alrode
BMX Track we decided for a change of pace.
The Riot's Brad Illingworth was a seasoned racer a few years ago.
SA #4 to be exact. He had this idea to set-up a mobile Riot Shop
at Alrode and race for the day.
We took a bunch of goods and made a neat little display.
With a lot of the racing stuff which most people were surprised
to see we stock.
In between selling stuff Brad and Tyrone raced in the 16 and over
expert class. For this event everyone had to ride with platforms.
This didn't stop the top riders from hauling ass though.
This was Tyrone's first real racing experience and he was allover
the place. In the first moto he overshot one of the main straight's
doubles by two meteres and got bounced right off his bike and onto
his feet in a full sprint stunt that looked like something out of
a hollywood blockbuster.
Brad on the other hand did an alright job of getting back into
the racing saddle. Unfortunately he slipped up in the quarters by
unintentionaly nose manualing down a landing and across a metre
of flat. By the time he got things back in control he just didn't
have the speed to clear the next jump, losing him a few places and
missing out on the qualifying.
The final was a treat to watch. Those guys were damn fast and super
smooth. We're definitely gonna make a mission to get to more of
these events. They are so much fun. Come join us next time, we'll
give notice when and where we'll be next.

Hmm,
Gum Trails 07
August 2007
Wayne Reiche sent us some pics of the Gum Trails session that went
down on the weekend. According to Wayne the trails were running
the best they have in 7 years. They were running so good that even
with his tweaked ankle he was forced to ride. Thankfully he took
some time off to shoot some pics.
"The weather was amazing, it was just the locals jumping and
Malcolm made the trip through on both days. We were jumping our
new hip line. It's pretty sweet."- Wayne.
Here's Malcolm Peters aka "Mo" to The Riot, with what
can only be described as mad steez over the newly built hip.
Same hip, different angle, this time it's Ian trowing in a lookback.
How fun does this thing look?
Here's Mo again with a mid rhythm 360. Thanks Wayne for the pics
and update.
Heal
Quick Tim 06
August 2007
We received some bad news today. Team rider Tim Dell aka Dell-icious
is out of action for a while. He over shot and over rotated a 360
on a dirt double on the weekend and although he's unsure of his
condition it is believed he may have fractured his knee cap.
He will only know the true extent of his injury after seeing the
specialist but as it stands it looks like surgery is needed. Always
the happy face guy, this is what he had to say, "Guess I'll
be out for a while but I'll be back, and this doesn't mean that
I don't still wanna reserve one of those 21" Tierra's in raw!!!"
Heal fast son!
Greg
in Germany
We also received some news from Greg this past weekend. After sessioning
Spain for a while he is now in Germany. The lucky bastard got to
ride the infamous Dusseldorf University and he says it lives up
to all the hype. From the sounds of things he has been getting some
awesome footage which we have plans for but we'll tell you more about that later.
He did however send us these two pics, snapped by Lauren.
Tweaked lookback with 'nuff style and dress sense
Sketchy, slippery looking wallride.
This weekend is the Rebell Jam and Greg will be competing. We'll
keep you posted. Laters.

"The Leopard" Illingworth Update 01
August 2007
Here´s the low down:
We left Cannes (France) on sunday and drove toward Spain... slept
in the car at a petrol station and drove to Barcelona the next morning.
We were staying at a university a bit far out of the city... the
train is pretty cheap to get into the city though. The only thing
the unversity is good for is street riding... the place is like
a massive skatepark!
Here are a bunch of photos:
Universtaria Autonoma Barcelona: Gap over rail... I whipped it
too but Lauren was filming so no photo.
Up ledge tailwhip...
And turndown off ledge.
France skatepark in Frejus: Turndown 1/4 to 1/4
180 over mini spine.
Table out of a perfect 6ft mini.
Sunset no hander and that's it for now. Word!
These photos were all taken by Lauren with hershady little
cybershot... not bad for fist time shooting bmx.
Greg is now in Cologne Germany and will be riding the Rebel Jam
next weekend 10-12 August. Slay it Leopard!!
