High Eleven
There's a rad event going down in Soweto this Saturday. The event's called "High Eleven". We'll be providing some small prizes for the BMX event. If you're keen to ride a new park and see a fresh scene, then get over to the event. It's going to be a lot of fun! For more info click here

Greetings from Port Alfred
Greg and Tim were in Port Alfred recently kicking back and living life slowly. Looks like they did sneak some riding though. Tim sent these pics through from his cell phone.

In other news, the much anticipated Suninghill Park is almost complete. Greg got to test ride some of the ramps and reckons it has the best box jump in SA. (it also has a foam pit attached to it). We'll definitely keep you posted for the opening.

Locally Whipped
The new Locally Whipped has hit the shelves and this issue is packed with BMX. First up Devin Toselli has a full page "Backyard Jammer" feature and then there is a 4-page feature on the England trip Buddy, Colin and Tyrone just went on. So make sure you get your hands on this one, don't just read your buddies. Word.

Getaway Expo
This past weekend was the Getaway Expo which was held at the Coca Cola Dome (Northgate). ESPN set up a midi-ramp, not quite mini not quite vert, and Tyrone and Paul Soderland did demos on it along with some skaters and rollers. Jordan also filled in one day but we don't have evidence.

Paul brought his friend Hannes to the demos too. Although he's a street rider and hardly ever rides tranny he didn't seem to battle throwing clicked inverts.

Here's a side view...

Hannes has no handers on lockdown and was firing them off the ramp. This is one rider you need to keep your eyes on...

On the last day Tyrone fell and tweaked his ankle really bad and is out of action for a while. All this means is that once he's walking again he'll be spending some quality time behind the lens of his camera. That's it for Spring Day!
