Since the Red Bull comp Colin Loudon has
spent most of his time rebuilding the trails at Giba Gorge... Looks
like his work has paid off. Fox host a BMX event every year called
the Fox Pro Am and in the past it has been at Gateway... This year
it is going to be a dirt comp at Giba. Looking at these pics I'm
pretty sure it is going to be one hell of a comp.

for pricing.
In other West Coast news, a park has recently been built at in the
Table View / Parklands area at the Gen-X Dream Centre. They had
an opening recently although the park isn't completely finished...
looks super fun. There are more pics and more information aout the
opening and the park at the West

Richwood Trail Pics
It seems like that Sunday session at Richwood
trails went down so good that the boys went back there a few days
later... and we thank them for that... look at these pics and you'll
see why. Wayne has once again provided some absolutely spectacular
photo's.

It looks like Jason has been riding quite a lot lately and it is
showing... Everytime I speak to Wayne he tell's me how dialed Jason
is getting. Here he does a tailwhip with style.

Town Update
Wayne Reiche sent us an update of a very
busy weekend for BMX in Cape Town... Here's what he had to say.
Saturday there was a little comp at the Shed in Stellenbosch. There
weren't too many guys but it was still rad. It was run as a normal
session with everyone riding together, there were also one or two
new unknown rippers which was rad to see. In the end Malcolm won,
its his local spot and it shows.

Sunday saw the boys at Gums putting in a decent build session. I
still have my cast on but was able to dial in a lip after the twins
barrowed me some dirt. Think the trails are going to be really good
this year. Malcolm has also been putting in some time at Somerset
West and its looking good. After the building we went to the farm
jumps at Richwood where there was a little jam put on by Xergy (a
new energy drink) It was really chilled good vibe with some good
riding. It was awesome to see Clemi shredding the place with some
smooth riding after being out for 6 months with knee surgery and
I even got to see James stunting on dirt again!!! Jason was riding
so dialled doing lots of tricks mid- rhythm and doing his first
flip on a double. The day also saw a good braai and even better
trains.

Sites To Check Out
James
at West Coast BMX has been updating the blog regularly and there
is definitely some awesome content up... including spy shots of
a new park going up in Cape Town! There are also some interesting
voting polls that you should get in on.
Next up, head over to the BLOODSHOT INK site... Denton has done
an awesome job with this site and there is a super dope edit on
there. The edit features Riot & BLOODSHOT team rider Jordan
Anthony shredding. There are also some amazing clips of Rory Welgemoed
killing the streets (i think he does 4 or 5 tricks down 1 rail!)
