Long days,loose nights,dialed trails,tent relocation,snowbells
savagery, harry potter scars, race track s-t-e-a-k...
The Fox pro/am went down over the weekend and it was a belter.Colin
worked really hard to get the jumps running to perfection, and that
they were.
We made the trek down with 1 van, 3 cars, 2 cases of Monster, 15
bikes,18 people and a
bunch of tents... Some insane riding went down as well as some after
dark madness. The
photo's speak for themselves.
Huge thanks to Giba Gorge for being amaziing hosts of this event.

Traditional group photo in the Drakensberg looking over Sterkfontein
Dam.
Colin and Savage finished off the beautiful sculptures by adding
these Fox stencils before
the comp started.
Daniel Roffey battled this truck driver on the last jump for a while
and it was well worth it.
Winner of Am Best trick.
Angelo Nel will take any oportunity to ride dirt, and he loved every
second of riding these
trails. Angelo was floating big tables like this and nice 360's...
He finished 3rd in Am's.
Brad Illingworth went for a 15km cross country ride before the comp...
he won the 15km
race but got misdirected and ended up doing a 40km ride instead.
This didn't stop him
from shredding the trails all day and flowing stylish 360's both
ways. Taboggan on the
2nd jump.
Brad - backflip
Brad - joining the trend... nac nac
Tyrone Bradley managed to put down his camera long enough to float
this 360
Stu Loudon rode super smooth and consistant and usual. It was 360's
like this that won
him the Best 360 prize.
Stu - 3 table with steez
Zandy made the mission down with the Richards Bay Crew. He was doing
the best
tables for sure and won the style prize in the Pro class.
Colin Loudon made the most of all his hard work to get the set up
dialed and didn't hold
back in the comp. Here is a huge double whip.
Colin doing a flip turn down... this got him 2nd place for Pro best
trick.
The best trick comp on the wall ride was insane. Colin tried this
wallride whip
a bunch of times and when he landed clean on the pedals he ended
up looping
out after a 5m unintentional manual.
Greg Illingworth unleashed the Nic Nac (can can to nac nac) during
the comp and ended
up tie for 3rd with Colin. Nac Nac.
Greg winning highest wallride.
Malcolm Peters has so many tricks dialed and it was a treat to sit
back and watch the
show. Here he is with a 360 whip... he almost got a 360 double whip!
Here is an example of one of Malcolm's runs: double whip the first,
No hander the 2nd, 360 no hander the 3rd.... rediculous!
Wayne Reiche is well known for being a trail shredder but he really
really made a huge
impression this weekend. He was throwing down some of the best trail
style and trails
tricks in the business... and then surprising everyone with huge
flips and front flips! This
pic is a clicked Unturndown.
Wayne also got creative in wallride best trick - pegless vertical
smith 180.
Wayne - inverted footplant
Wayne 360 table
Wayne stealing the show with a massive front flip right after he
flipped the first jump. Winning best trick and coming 2nd for best
run.
Tyrone Kelly felt right at home being loud on the mic. Podium for
best run Pro.
