She said yes!

Tyrone Bradley sent us a message on Facebook to let us know that he proposed to Lisa... and she said yes! He's on vacation in Indonesia with her, they went for a surfing/backpacking holiday. Ty, being the romantic that he is, popped the question! Way to go boy! We're stoked for you guys! Congratulations to you and Lisa from your family that is The Riot! I'll get some beers for your return!

Greg Illingworth's USA update

Greg is still over in the USA. Mega Tour finished a few days ago, and now 's on his own mission until the end of the month. Straight from the States, he flies to China for a comp that's going down over there. But before he leaves the States, he'll be popping into Vegas... good times to be had!

Here's what he has to say:

"Mega Tour was amazing! Rode the sweetest spots everyday and had some good
parties along the way. It's not nuts riding full tilt 7 days in a row. The
craziest part is that is hasn't stopped since then... I hung out in
Minneapolis for a week after Mega Tour with Miles Rogoish and Eric
Holley... well and a bunch of other locals. We have filmed a bunch of
street stuff so look out for a Mongoose edit in the next couple of weeks.

Last night I arrived in Tulsa... but my bag didn't! Apparently it is on
the way so I'm not too stressed. Just from spending one night here I can
tell things are going to be good. From here we are driving to Las Vegas
for Interbike. It's a 16 hour drive... which I'm so stoked about cos I'll
get to see so much along the way.

Will try get some more pics when I can, but until then... Ridaz!

Chicago Skyline - this is where we shot the intro's for Mega Tour

Hangover tooth - This spot was right up the road from the house in
Minneapolis that I was staying at... such good spots everywhere.

Justin DeWitt - This rail hop is way crazier than it looks, I have no
idea how he managed to hop the rail and miss that poll

Miles (Rogoish) repping for SA, he will be in SA soon for sure so watch out!

This was taking in the hotel room the day after Mega Tour is we were
all preparing to go separate ways. Miles Rogoish, Eric Holley, Justin
Coble, Paul Ryan, and Nick Anderson

This is the perfect set up to do stuff over the rail. I managed to get
this whip done before it got too dark.

Cruising in an old Ford F150 on the way to a spot nearing the end of
Mega Tour. That van you can see is the one Mongoose rented for the
trip.... thing was a V8 beast!

Wayne Reiche update

Wayne is on 4x4 mission up in Africa with his Dad, yesterday we got this message from him:

"I am sending this via sat Phone from the middle of Angola. This place is so wild and rough. My Dad and I crossed the Namibia border at Ruaccana. It took us 3 Days to travel 300km over the harshest, testing terrain you can imagine. We are just camping everyday in the wild bush and beaches. The scenery is from another world. The culture is different, nobody speaks english but the people are very friendly. Today we went up the Lebo Pass and visited the Dorsland Monument and the Statue of Christ. We are still heading up a lot further North before swinging east and coming home through Botswana. Should be home around the 6th. "

Wayne, dude... it looks like an amzing adventure! We hope it keeps going well, send more updates when you get a chance!

Not too much else is happening this side... I seen some of Greg's Facebook nessages/updates, and it seems that he's having a real good time! Awesome stuff bro, keep rockin'

Spring is here, Greg is gone!

Hells yeah, the weather is warming up. I can see some night street sessions starting up again. Yay for pool parties!

Greg left last night for America. He was invited by Mongoose USA to join their team for the '09 Props Mega tour! As we all know, the Props' road trips are always amazing and it's something that most riders dream of doing. Well done Greg, have a rocking time dude!

He'll be on Mega Tour for just over a week, and then he's staying in the states with no plan (other than to ride, travel and have fun) until the end of the month. From America, he flies straight to China, where he has been invited to ride in comp over there. Rumour has it that the Loudon bro's will be joining Greg in China. Good times boys!

While Greg is away, I will be handling the mail order side of things. But please be patient, as I have a full time job and will only be able to sort out orders after hours. But I will get your goods to you! Please send your orders to: sales@theriot.co.za.
